Sukhoi claims Su-57 having an RCS goal between 0.1 to 1 m^2 (-10 to 1 dBsm). For comparison the F-117 had an RCS around -25 dBsm while the F-22 and F-35 has an RCS better than -40 dBsm – which is at least 1,000 to 10,000 times smaller than Su-57. The configuration of the Sukhoi Su-57 Felon is an evolution of the Su-27’s shape adapted for the requirements of low visibility and supersonic speed and agility.

According to the officials, Iranian pilots received Sukhoi Su-35 training in Russia in the spring, indicating Iran may start acquiring the aircraft within the following year. The information was disclosed on December 9 by senior officials of President Joe Biden’s administration. This training is part of what the US has described as an “unprecedented” level of military and other technology support pouring from Moscow to Tehran.

The combat air arm of Russia’s Central Military District (TsVO), stationed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, recently received two upgraded MiG-31BM fighter interceptors, according to the press release issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) on December 9.
