Scorpion packs a sting for straitened times

Forward-thinking companies sometimes see emerging market opportunities before the end-user. One product that may have been developed ahead of its time is the Scorpion low-cost light attack/ISR aircraft, which is based on business jet technology. The production-standard Scorpion is being developed by a JV between Textron and AirLand Enterprises. It was unveiled at the Dubai Airshow in 2017 with potential Middle Eastern customers in mind.
