A V-22 Osprey aircraft bound for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) based at Camp Kisarazu departs Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, July 10, 2020, to mark the official delivery of the first V-22 to the Japan Self Defense Force. Japan has purchased the American V-22 to improve its amphibious and naval warfare capabilities.

The Indian government plans to purchase from Russia of spare parts intended for military equipment. We are talking about submarines Kilo-class, su-30MKI and heavy tanks T-90. The Cabinet of India also expressed its intention to acquire missiles and ammunition for warships, submarines, tanks and fighter jets named. The representative of the Indian Ministry of defense told the media that the contract between Moscow and new Delhi provides a deal for $ 800 million.

Russian fighter jets of the Eastern Military District were scrambled to intercept a US reconnaissance aircraft over the Sea of Japan, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on Saturday. Russian radars detected the target in international airspace over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan. The aircraft was heading towards the Russian sovereign airspace.

Recently declassified Defense Department documents show the Pentagon knew troops were exposed to multiple toxins and hazards that have led to hundreds of cancer cases and dozens of dead veterans after deploying to Uzbekistan in the early days of the War on Terror. The Department of Veterans Affairs is denying most of them care and disability.
