Northrop Grumman To Provide LITENING Multi-Sensor Targeting System For Danish F-16 Aircraft

Northrop Grumman won a contract to provide the Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) with pods containing a multi-sensor targeting and surveillance system known as LITENING for use on F-16 aircraft. LITENING allows coordinated air-to-ground and air-to-air capabilities, data links for cooperative targeting, laser spot search and track, laser markers and J-series weapons employment capabilities.
