Saab to manufacture its Gripen fighter aircraft in India

There is renewed hope in the aviation industry with Swedish defence major Saab offering to manufacture its fifth generation Gripen fighter aircraft under 'Make in India' with technology transfer to India, in a renewed bid for a pie in the multi-billion dollar worth IAF modernisation plan.
