New firm proposes makeover for Army scout copter

A small Fort Worth startup, composed largely of former Bell engineers and managers, has proposed what it says is a low-cost way for the Army to upgrade its fleet of scout helicopters while significantly improving performance, safety and combat capability of the aircraft.
