Second Airbus A400M makes its maiden flight

Airbus Military on Friday announced that the second A400M military airlifter and air-to-air refuelling aircraft, designated MSN2 by the company, had made its maiden flight on Thursday afternoon. South African companies remain part of the A400M programme, even though the South African government cancelled this country’s order for eight of the aircraft late last year.
