IAI Will Exhibit a Wide Array of Advanced Systems at the Singapore International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference– IMDEX Asia 2009

Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) exhibit at the International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (IMDEX Asia 2009) will feature a broad range of products and technologies that demonstrate the company's leadership in developing solutions to meet current and future maritime needs.
IAI's exhibit will be located in Hall 2, Exhibition Area #900 from May 12-14.

Itzhak Nissan, President and CEO of IAI said: "We are proud to present our advanced naval technologies at IMDEX. Integrating our wide range of technologies and products to create complex, cutting-edge systems enables us to provide our customers with the best solutions available".

IAI's MBT Missiles Division of Systems, Missiles and Space Group, will present it's latest development in naval defense systems:Barak- 8.
IAI, a world leader in Naval Missile Systems has started the development of its combat proven Gabriel sea to sea missile systems some 50 years ago.
Throughout the years, major successful upgrades have been introduced to these missile families. The Barak 1 Anti Air and Anti Missile Defense systems are widely deployed world wide and are operationally equipping major navies.
These days, IAI is proudly presenting its latest Barak 8 which surpasses by its performance, capabilities and affordability, any other Air Defense and Anti Missile Defense system in its class.
MBT Division will also present LAHAT – Network Centric Laser Guided Weapon.

IAI's MALAT Division will display their Maritime Naval Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (NRUAV).
NRUAV, co-developed with a foreign customer, is a multi-payload, multi-mission platform, designed to operate in the most adverse weather conditions. NRUAV provides Over the Horizon Targeting (OHT) and real-time battle damage assessment. NRUAV features automatic take-off and landing from aviation capable ships and from unprepared landing sites.

ELTA Systems Ltd., a group and subsidiary of IAI, will present the following systems:

Multi-function Surveillance Track and Guidance Radar (MF-STAR) EL/M 2248 and Advanced Lightweight Phased Array Naval Radar (ALPHA) EL/M 2258:
Both radars are solid-state active phased array radar systems, developed for the new generation of military ships. Both systems deliver a high quality situation picture under high density targets/environmental conditions. The MF-STAR and ALPHA systems employ multi-beam and pulse-Doppler techniques.
They use robust electronic counter-countermeasure (ECCM) technology to extract fast, low radar-cross-section (RCS) targets from complex clutter and jamming environments. Both systems have high availability, low maintenance, and low life cycle costs.

Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) EL/1-3360: The MPA is a multi-role airborne system designed to operate as a fast deployment asset to provide comprehensive situational awareness. The MPA utilizes a high-performance aircraft equipped with a powerful sensor suite and a mission system to integrate the sensor's data. An onboard Command and Control system processes intelligence and situational awareness information and transfers it to operational users.

SIGNIT/COMINT Suite – UAV Integrated Communication Intelligence (COMINT) EL/K-7071: This system is designed to perform long-range, high-endurance COMINT missions. The EL/K-7071 can scan, intercept, measure, locate, analyze and disseminate intelligence reports, including real-time electronic order of battle.

UAV Integrated Electronic Support Measure (ESM) and ELINT System EL/L-8385:
This system is designed to cope with the challenges of modern dense radar environments in long-range, high-endurance ESM/ELINT missions.
ELTA will also present a Mobile Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Station.
