Switzerland reviews Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jet procurement as U.S. demands higher payment

Switzerland’s government has instructed its defence ministry to examine options for the planned acquisition of Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jets after the United States refused to drop demands for additional funding. One option now under consideration is to reduce the number of aircraft purchased.
